Step-by-Step Ghee Manufacturing Process

Milk Collection & Cream Separation
Fresh milk is collected and processed through a cream separator to obtain high-fat cream, the base ingredient for ghee. -
Cream Pasteurization
The cream is pasteurized at the required temperature to eliminate harmful microorganisms and ensure product safety. -
Butter Churning
The pasteurized cream is churned to produce white butter (makkhan), which is the direct precursor to ghee. -
Ghee Boiling/Clarification
The butter is slowly heated in a ghee boiler where moisture is evaporated, and milk solids are caramelized and separated. -
Filtration
The liquid ghee is passed through filters to remove residue and ensure clarity. -
Cooling & Settling
Ghee is cooled and allowed to settle in hygienic stainless steel tanks to enhance shelf life and texture. -
Packaging
